- The TAQA New Terminal project in Alexandria was developed to serve the operational needs of a power station facility, including administrative functions, utility services, and secure site control. Medad delivered the full architectural, structural, and electromechanical design for the project, along with complete site supervision from inception to completion. In line with sustainable design principles, the building envelope was developed using locally sourced, durable materials including Soranyga brick, mica stone, and grey granite. The southwest-facing main façade is shaded with horizontal sunbreakers and glazed with double-pane glass to reduce heat transfer and improve occupant comfort.
