- This building is located in the heart of Cairo, along the main extension of Ramses Street.
- Originally, it served as the headquarters of Ideal, a long-established industrial company, before being sold to Olympic Group (now Electrolux Egypt). The building itself dates back to the 1960s.
- The main challenge was transforming this old structure into one that reflects modernity and aligns with contemporary administrative buildings.
- The design concept centered around creating a large steel frame that encompasses the main façade. This frame incorporates sun breakers to cast shadows and protect the eastern-facing façade.
- Additionally, a distinctive steel structure was introduced at the main entrance zone, with a glass wall behind it to highlight the entrance area, which is replicated at every floor level.
- Inside, the building was completely reconfigured to meet the client’s requirements, providing a mix of administrative and service spaces. These include multipurpose halls, meeting and exhibition rooms, a library, gym, restaurant, and the main prayer area.
