- Submitted to a 2014 competition organized by Al Subeaei Real Estate Development, this hospitality concept was envisioned for the Al-Kakya residential zone in southern Mecca. The design responds to both the cultural heritage and environmental demands of the region. Inspired by the traditional inward-facing homes of historic Hijazi architecture, the proposal centers on a shaded inner courtyard, a passive cooling strategy that ensures airflow while protecting privacy.
