Integrated Worker Accommodation Camp

Set on a 902,000 sqm plot, this large-scale development was designed to accommodate 28,200 workers across six integrated neighborhoods. Each neighborhood, or Single Residential Facility (SRF), houses up to 4,700 residents and is supported by a full suite of services to ensure a shelter that portrays a holistic residential environment.
In addition to worker housing, it includes dedicated living quarters for managers and supervisors, along with shared amenities such as dining halls, medical clinics, recreational zones, retail spaces, and sports facilities.
Planning is focused on organization, clarity of circulation, and equitable access to services, while the architectural strategy emphasizes modularity and efficiency without sacrificing human scale. The goal was to create a safe, structured, and dignified living environment that balances density with comfort and addresses the full spectrum of daily needs for residents.
