GPTITC Post Office

  • One of the oldest and most famous methods used for sending messages was the carrier pigeon.
  • From this concept, the main idea of the project was inspired, where the design of the building’s entrance hall was derived from the shape of pigeon towers, taking a conical form but made of glass to give it a modern and contemporary look.
  • As for the rest of the architectural composition, it was designed with a high degree of dynamism, in addition to the large upper canopy, which was also inspired by a bird’s wing and serves to cast shade over a large portion of the building.
  • The building consists of four floors, meeting the owner’s requirements, and is situated on a plot of approximately 7,800 square meters, located in Janzour, Tripoli – Libya.
