- When we were commissioned to design the headquarters of El Sewedy Cables, the greatest challenge was creating a building that reflects the stature of one of the leading industrial giants in Egypt and the Middle East. The headquarters needed to stand as a landmark within the area.
- The project is located on a plot along North 90th Street in New Cairo.
- The design adopts a U-shaped form, consisting of two main walls embracing a central glass mass. The side walls form the eastern and western wings, each with openings carefully designed to minimize heat gain.
- The central glass volume faces north, allowing for a fully glazed façade that brings in abundant natural daylight without heat loads or direct sun exposure.
- The entire building is clad in granite.
- Executive and managerial offices are positioned at the edges of the wings, ensuring maximum privacy while offering direct views onto the main street.
