- Located on a compact site along Egypt’s North Coast, Al Dar El Masry Resort was designed with spatial efficiency at its core. Residential units were placed edge-to-edge, without side setbacks, in order to maximize internal land use and generate the largest possible number of units.
- Each unit is oriented toward the resort’s central garden and open spaces, with many enjoying partial views of the coastline. Roof terraces and stepped platforms were integrated to extend visual access toward both the heart of the development and the sea, blurring the boundaries between architecture and landscape.
- Natural materials, particularly timber, were used throughout the façades and architectural details, giving the resort a warm, unified character. Vertical circulation elements, especially the external stair volumes, were treated as sculptural anchors; giving each unit a distinct identity and the entire resort a recognizable architectural language.
- Access routes were planned along the site perimeter, ensuring a secure and private interior where movement is limited to residents and guests. Every home opens onto an internal courtyard or private terrace, reinforcing a sense of retreat and belonging.
