- Situated on a 2,500 m² plot in Sheikh Zayed City, Al-Rahman Al-Raheem Mosque was designed with a timeless architectural language, blending classical influences with minimalism. The use of natural stone cladding, both inside and out, creates a sense of permanence and elegance, while wood detailing and mosaic work in the mihrab and columns add warmth and texture.
- The main dome is supported by the qibla wall and two rear columns, which also carry the mezzanine level reserved for women’s prayer. The women’s entrance is positioned separately, accessed via an external staircase that begins near the qibla wall, ensuring clear spatial distinction from the main circulation routes.
- A landscaped courtyard surrounds the mosque, planted with deciduous trees that provide summer shade while allowing winter sunlight to warm the outdoor space—enhancing year-round usability and comfort.
- Compact yet intentional in every detail, the design prioritizes spiritual focus, functional clarity, and a subtle dialogue with its environment.
