- Al-Manaseer Mosque is an old existing mosque located in Tajoura – Tripoli, Libya, for which the renewal and development of all its elements were requested.
- The main problem was that the number of mosque bays was even, and therefore, neither the mihrab nor the minbar was centered.
To overcome this issue, the central area perpendicular to the Qibla wall was demolished. With the removal of these columns, the number of bays became odd, making the central bay, which is also the largest, located in the middle — with both the mihrab and the minbar properly aligned at its center, as is customary in mosque design. - A modern-style skylight was also added in the central area to enhance natural lighting and ventilation.
- Additionally, an outer courtyard was added to the mosque, along with a Qur’an memorization center attached to the northwestern area.
- The project is located along one of the main roads in the Tajoura area.
