Private Villa, Mokattam

Situated in Hadabet Al-Ahram, with views over Kornish El-Mokattam, this villa consists of three residential units, each designed to maximize privacy and connectivity with nature. The vertical composition of the units — a duplex on the ground and first floors, and separate units on the second and third floors — allows each unit to enjoy a private roof garden, enhancing the experience of overlooking the surrounding landscape.
The design focuses on optimizing natural elements; the ground garden and house are oriented to capture the desired northern wind for natural ventilation, while maximum shading is achieved through overlapping massing. Privacy is reinforced by separate entrances for each unit, and a bent entrance strategically separates the guest zone from the rest of the house. The connection between the house and outdoor spaces is seamlessly integrated through steps, ensuring easy access to the garden.
The result is a well-balanced villa that combines functional design with environmental harmony, ensuring comfort, privacy, and a strong connection to the outdoor environment.
