The hotel enjoys a prime location in the city of Taif on a plot of land measuring approximately 2,250 square meters, originally intended to be one of Hilton’s most distinguished sites, overlooking a public garden. The building mass was designed and oriented owards the garden, with a distinctive entrance positioned between the main block and the recessed section, where each part was assigned different functions, allowing them to express their unique identity. The pleasant climate of Taif made it possible to use glass extensively throughout the building, as well as enlarge the openings to maximize views of the surroundings and enjoy the mild weather most of the year. Local materials such as stone and granite were used for the façade cladding, reinforcing the character and identity of the region.
