- This schematic design proposal was developed for an architectural competition within Cairo Festival City, one of New Cairo’s major mixed-use destinations. The concept focused on creating a clear linear massing strategy: all office spaces were oriented north to maximize daylight, reduce heat gain, and overlook an internal landscape spine, green areas, and a public plaza.
- By concentrating the office façades toward the central green corridor, the design offered both expansive views and thermal comfort, while preserving privacy for the adjacent residential zone at the rear. The overall massing created a buffer between commercial and domestic functions, forming a well-balanced urban edge.
- The building volumes were strategically shaped to frame communal outdoor areas, encourage natural ventilation, and enhance pedestrian experience within the complex. The result was a modern, efficient office development rooted in contextual sensitivity and environmental performance.
