إن العمارة هي وعاء الحضارات و تمثل الهوية الثقافية للمجتمعات و قد يعتقد البعض أن العلاقة المادية أو العملية هما كل ما يربط المعماري بأعمــاله . إلا أن الواقع يخالف ذلك تماما،  فعــلاقة المعماري بأعمـــاله علاقة تصل بمستوي قوتها لمرتبة قريبــة من علاقــة الأب بأبنائه . و لنشرح ذلك ، سنأخذ مثال الأبــوة ، فأي مشـــروع تولد فكرتـــه مثل الطفل الصغير .وهي هبــة من المولي عـــز و جـــل و يكون دور المعمـــاري هـو التطوير المستمر لهذه الفكرة في مرحلة الأسكتش المبدئي . أي رسومات أبتدائية فالرسومات المتطــورة، وأخيرا الرسومات التنفيذية ، التي يتم طرحها حيث تنفيذ الخراســـانات ثم التشــــطيبـات إلي تســليم المبني ، و هي تشبه كثيرا علاقتنا بأبنائنا عندما نراهم يكبرون و يلتحقون بالدراسة حتي يـــوم تخرجهم وإعتمادهم علي أنفسهم . و هذا أشبه بيوم تسليم المبني . و هكذا يوم إنهاء العمل هو يوم إنتهاء المهمة ، مهمة التربيـــة ، و تشـــكيل شخصية و طــابع هذا المبني ويكون يوم فرحة بإنجاز المهمة و تكون الفرحة أكبر كلما كان الإنجاز علي أكمل وجه اقرأ أيضًا: المعايير التصميمية للإستدامه في مشاريع الإسكان

The Relationship Between the Architect and The Building

Architecture is the vessel of civilizations and represents the cultural identity of societies, the Relation between the architect and his drawings, is not only a materialistic or professional work, but it is also a deep bond connects them together, as the bond that connects the father with his son. In order to clarify, let’s take the fatherhood example; Any project starts with an idea, like a little child (Which is a gift from the Almighty God), and it’s in the hands of the architect (father) to develop and add more value to the idea (the little child) what we architect would call it “primary drawings” where the child goes to “primary school”, then he attends the “development and working drawing “ where he goes to “secondary school”, and the final phase that we call it the “construction supervision”, where he goes to college. Then finally the little boy is no longer a little boy, and now he will be by himself on the graduation day to start his new independent career, which is as equal as the day we deliver the building to the client, where he might hire security men, that might prevent the architect from entering! However, on the other side, on that day, there is always mix feelings of having completed the mission of a successful project, mixed with our feelings and emotions that we were the ones who created the character and personality of that building, and now we will leave it and go on! But our happiness is always greater as long as the child graduates with honors.
