AlHoda School is divided into two stages, the first is AlHoda Azhar school and the second is AlHoda international school. • The project is located at Gharb Somid district at the edge of 6th October City. • It began as a triangular building with international court for teaching Quran, then transformed to an Azhar language school by adding primary stage and administration building characterized by northern play ground surrounded by a red penetrated wall. • The two buildings foster the principles of school design and adapt some environmental treatment such as deep windows, courts and arcades, considering appropriate direction for lighting and warming effects to avoid cold weather effect at learning season. Following the same principles, we designed the 2nd stage representing the international school sector. In this stage, we provided two buildings with two large playgrounds for different ages and sports demand, connected by sharing facility building that contains Mosque, clinic, theater, workshops, Gym and administration. The two buildings contain classrooms, labs, libraries, art room, and teacher rooms. An open specious space is surrounded by the buildings for different unformal activities such as parties, fairs and recreational events. At last we used the existing back service road for bus access and drivers area entrance.
