• Total built area: 975m²

The Location

The house located inside Orabi society near the Cairo – ismailia desert road ,and consists of one story

of  975 m2 ,plus green area, and open spaces of 5000 m2

The next targets were fulfilled through the design phase:

The house facade has an architectural form achieves the following:

The pray area in the center of the house, near the kids living room helps to remind them always of the prayer conception.

Using the idea of the internal courts achieving the optimum environmental orientation inside the house by making the air flow continues inside the house through them.

Dragging the elements of the outside green area into the house achieves the connection between most of the internal spaces with the outside nature.

Orienting the bedrooms area towards the north green area.

The master bedroom area contains an external courtyard facing the green area to achieve an extension for the privacy of the space.

The difference between the house levels provides northern higher openings for some internal spaces.

The house divides into 4 internal parts, and 4 exterior green areas so that every part has its own green area as follows: Reception area, Living area, Bedrooms area, and Service area.

Also the house is connected to the main green area which services all buildings located inside the plot whereas the plot previously contains another 2 houses, and this house was added to meet the family needs.

The Design Concept:-

The concept depends on the formation, and the orientation of the internal spaces to match the best environmental orientation to achieve the maximum privacy for the inhabitants of the house with using the element of open courts which is connected with the exterior nature elements.
